HAL was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She specializes in many styles including soul, singer/songwriter, pop, and she plays guitar and piano. She is heavily influenced by Hozier, Adele, Ed Sheeran, and Sam Smith. Currently, HAL is not signed to a record label but is working diligently to sign on with one. She is currently attending University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh with the goal of obtaining two bachelor's degree in Music Business and Recording Technology. After receiving her bachelor's degrees, she plans on attending Berkeley in hopes of receiving her Master's degree in Audio Production.
